Many creators have created a Discord server for their buyers, and have leveraged their Discord to grow a community of avid fans and customers. Historically there has been no way to easily sync and automate the connection between our platform and Discord servers, but that is what our Discord Bot solves.

Each paid resource you create has an option in the Engagement tab to select a role to automatically assign to buyers. This can be used to assign all buyers a standard ‘Customer’ role you set up in your server, or be taken a step further to have a unique role for each of your resources!
This allows you to give verified buyers special permissions, such as access to a buyers-only chat or to a buyers-only ticket tool for support.
A key benefit of us centralising the syncing of BuiltByBit users to Discord users is that a buyer only needs to sync their accounts once and then they will automatically receive roles in every Discord server for every purchase they make rather than having to complete a unique process for each different creator. You just need to encourage buyers to link their Discord account through this link and run the /sync command within your server.
Even free resources can make money through our addons system, and an addon is available that will automatically provide buyers with a role in your Discord server beyond what they already receive as a buyer. Addon roles are particularly handy if you want to provide a premium level of support for extra, since you can automatically give a Premium support role to buyers of the addon!

Set up a channel where our bot will automatically post logs for your staff team, including notifications for purchases, renewals, reviews, and reactions received. We recommend not making these public channels since they’re not relevant to buyers, but can be handy for your team.
Notify your community automatically when new resources are published, or when existing resources are updated with our bot! Super simple, but effective.
A #recent-reviews channel is a great way to show your products are successful and will make buyers more likely to buy from you in the future! Having a channel to showcase your reviews also makes it more likely that other buyers will review your product as well!
Configure a referral channel in order to earn passive revenue through Pro Resource referrals. Any newly published resources will have an embed automatically posted with the resource’s link including your referral information. Members of your server will also be able embed a resource of their choice through the /post command, again with your referral information.
A member can only post once every 24 hours and individual resources can only be posted once every 24 hours. Note that you may restrict which of your server members has access to this command through Discord’s integration permissions (Server Settings → Integrations → Manage).
Both types of embeds are restricted to resources which are within the categories you configured, whose owner has allowed referrals from everyone, and whose owner has at least a 10% referral rate.
