There’s nothing buyers love more than a chance to score a good deal. Our sale events and curated sale events system allow for this to be done in an authentic way.

Sale Events

Providing discounts can be an effective tool to increase resource revenue. Sale events allow creators to provide temporary price reductions on their resources. Creating a sale event is easy and can be done through our Sale events page in the Creator dashboard.

To eliminate the possibility of sale events being misused, they have the following restrictions placed on them:

  1. You must wait at least 14 days after the time that one sale event ends before a new one can be created for your resource
  2. It is not possible to create a sale event for a resource that has had its price increased in the past 14 days
  3. The duration of sale events must be at least 1 day and only up to 7 days long
  4. It is not possible to change the price of a resource when there is an ongoing sale event

Starting a sale event creates opportunities for increased exposure as well as interest, through discount-related filters available in the resource filter sidebar, vibrant price styling, among other benefits.

Launch Sale Events

Before your resource is approved by our resource moderators you are able to create a launch sale event to celebrate the release of your new resource. You can create a launch sale event under the Engagement tab while editing your draft.

If you can’t see the engagement tab, ensure that you have set your resource as paid and your resource isn’t yet published, because once a resource is published you cannot create a launch sale event for it without

Email Wishlisters

Creating a sale event will automatically send an email to all users who have wishlisted but not yet bought your resources. Read more about wishlists here: Wishlisting

Curated Sale Events

On special occasions and holidays we’ll coordinate many creators together to create a large sale event that we’ll officially promote. These events are entirely optional; we’ll never discount your products for you.

Creators who are involved in our curated sale events receive an influx of purchases and earn more money despite the price decrease, so it’s a great idea to be involved! Here’s some analytics from a previous curated sale event we held on Black Friday:
