Our only requirement is that you must be providing a relevant deliverable that shows that you have given buyers the product. It is never acceptable to attach a plain text file saying things like “add me on Discord to receive this addon: @mick”.
Offering a service may only be done by using the Discord role addon type. This includes services such as installation, priority support, customisation, or any other manual process where the buyer doesn’t immediately receive the product.
Selling services through a Discord role is required in order to fulfil our requirement of providing a relevant deliverable. The addon you’re selling isn’t a service, it’s a role which grants you access to a service through starting a conversation in the Discord server.
Due to this it’s required that creators own a Discord server and utilise our official BuiltByBit Discord bot to sync buyer roles. Read more about our bot here: Discord Bot
Tebex is strictly against donations from being provided through their platform, so offering addons called donations is not allowed.
In saying this, you are still allowed to offer cosmetic roles and minor benefits as addons as long as they are not described as donations. Offering Discord roles that are purely cosmetic is allowed, so we suggest this is used instead.
