Due to limitations with Tebex Checkout it is only possible to refund payments back to buyers through the original payment method if:
This is because there is currently no functionality that allows for partial refunds to be made; either the full amount must be refunded or none at all. We are working with Tebex to get partial refund functionality added, but in the mean time any transactions which do not meet the above requirements will need to be manually refunded through a separate payment to the buyer.
The introduction of a refund button in your transactions page is on our development roadmap, but for the time being, if you need a payment refunded, create at ticket and specify the transaction ID (starts with “tbx-”) you’d like refunded and a member of management will manually initiate the refund for you.
