One of the most important factors that impact conversion of users viewing your product page into becoming buyers is how well they can see your product in action. Our covers, image carousel, and other media types provide you with the tools you need to show the value of your product in an engaging way.
Before a user even visits your product page you need to convince them that your resource is worth clicking on. This can be done with a compelling title and tagline, but the most important hook is the cover since it can provide far more information and takes up half of the total space. And after all, a picture is worth a thousand words!
A cover is the picture shown on all discoverability pages. It’s a crucial component to get clicks so special care should be taken to make it as appealing, engaging, and accurate to your product as possible. While it is possible to use a basic text colour, we recommend creating a custom picture.
Cover photos are cropped in to be a 2:1 aspect ratio, so for best results you should upload a picture of those dimensions. Your image should be at least 1000x500 pixels in case you decide to also include it in your image carousel (don’t worry, our system will automatically compress it into a small size in places that we can).
Our image carousel allows you to upload several images to display on your product page without causing clutter since images are only shown one at a time for users to cycle between. Resources with multiple images uploaded to the carousel will also display arrows on the product page, allowing users to view your carousel before they click on your resource.
Pro resources can include gifs in their carousels making it even easier to show off features, and the number of images/gifs that can be uploaded depends on your account upgrade:

For more complex products such as plugins, where a gif may not make the value of your product clear enough, embedding a YouTube video may be handy. While editing your resource you can enable a video demo and simply enter your videos’ URL. Doing so will add a ‘Video demo’ tab on your product page that users can click on to see the video!
