“Without data you're just another person with an opinion.” - W. Edwards Deming
It’s impossible to make good decisions without data-driven insights. This is the reason why we’ve invested heavily in creating our advanced analytics dashboards. The data available through our creator dashboard provides valuable information about buyer behaviour and preferences, product performance, and market trends. By understanding the data and trends, you can make informed decisions and optimise your strategies to better meet buyers' needs. Additionally, analytics can identify areas where further investigation may be needed to improve performance.
We have three locations to view analytics about both your earnings as an creator, and the performance of your products.
The overview page of our creator dashboard shows your earnings as an creator. It isn’t necessarily about the revenue earned by your resources, but yours specifically. The data on this page is tied to your account, so even if you transfer ownership of a resource to someone else, it’ll remain as historical earnings on your Overview page.
By default the overview page will show you data for your earnings today, this month, this year, and all time. It also includes four sections where the date range can be adjusted.
You can adjust the dates that data is showed for to use one of our presets or be a custom date range. The preset date ranges are:
Selecting ‘Custom range’ will allow you to set a custom start and/or end date. All data below the filter will update once you click the ‘Filter’ button.
The row of analytics below the date range filter display a trend number next to them, either as a positive or negative percentage to show the change between the currently selected date range and the prior range. For example, if you have Past 30 days selected, the trend numbers will show the increase/decrease percentage for the current range compared to the past 30 to 60 days.
The earnings chart can show far more than just your earnings, and customising what displays on the chart is as simple as clicking ‘Edit chart’. You can change the grouping from day (default) to weekly, monthly, or even yearly. You can also adjust which data you’d like to display on the chart to include earnings, referrals paid, splits paid, page views, downloads, and purchases.
This table shows which products resulted in you earning revenue for the selected period, and the type of revenue it was.
